Frequently asked questions about our Sunshine Coast concreting services
These are some of the questions we are often asked at Century Concrete Constructions about our concreting services on the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland. We are happy to answer any other queries you have if you call 0439 728 342 or send us an email.
(Q) How do I clean my exposed aggregate?
(A) You can clean your exposed aggregate with an acid wash. We suggest cleaning your exposed aggregate every 12 months.
(Q) Is it necessary to seal my new concrete?
(A) For plain grey concrete it's not necessary, but for coloured or stamped concrete and exposed aggregate we recommend initially applying 2 coats of acrylic sealer. It's also a good idea to reseal the concrete every 12 months.
(Q) Does concrete need to be repaired before resurfacing?
(A) Yes. Any non-structural cracking needs to be repaired before resurfacing to avoid these returning again.
(Q) Is covercrete suitable to use on indoor areas?
(A) Yes. It is suitable for indoor areas, but it may be a better option to use epoxy flooring, depending on the project.
